Ok going to stick the battery back on charge and adjust the chain again and hope it lasts one more ride before changing both. Just need to find a right hand mirror/gaffer tape one on and there should be a slow one out tomorrow. Naturally calling shotgun on tailgunner if I do.

Any new participants:

Please be aware that its NOT a race.
Please ride you own ride, falling off because you’re riding beyond your limit/trying to keep up with some else is senseless, you will crash.
If you are getting left behind, stay on the road that you are on. We will be waiting wherever we turn off. Please DO NOT ride quicker to stay in touch. The few minutes the group might wait at a junction is way better than the 2hrs dealing with injuries, Police and recovery of your smashed bike.
The route has some very tricky corners that WILL catch you out, some participants have been riding these roads for 2 decades. So riding at there pace may see you in A&E!

Amit (Imortal Indian) is going out for a ride from Box, just down the road from Staines. See his thread. I’m probably going to pop to the Ace in the morning and see if there is anyone I know who wants to go for a ride (and if not then I’ll just go for a ride alone :slight_smile:
