Well seeing how my helmet is now cracked, twat that i am, i have to replace it. Ive been admiring for a while the new Arai chaser camo green, it looks georgous, but how are the comfort levels? Has anyone on here got one they can recommend?
Well we all knew your helmet liked the wrong type of crack!!
Sensible comments please.:D, shut you in the closet gay boi:P
Great lid, but I have found that the ‘fit’ depends on the quality of the dealer. Some will try different sizes of cheek and head padding to ensure a good fit rather than just expecting you to buy the lid with the standard size pads. I have found Doble’s excellent re. their Arai advice and fitting.

thanks matey, well we sell Arai at work, i just wanted to get a bit of advice, i will make sure it fits properly before i buy.
Hey sweetie,
I have the Chaser - Legend … comfy as anything
oh marvelous!, righto will go and try one tommorrow…
Hi Westie, you just spent the weekend at my place in Wales. I have the Dean Thomas Chaser and it is the most comfortable helmet I have worn. I have had the Corsair’s and Quantum Arai’s but this is by far the best for me.
Don’t know if it helps but just my two penneth.
Hiya Mate, fab stay by the way!!!:DTa, will try one on tommorrow, cant wait to try it properly, i loved my shoei but we only sell arai at work.
I’ve just got a Arai Viper (Banda Blue) - great all round - super comfortable!! Would recommend it 110%!
Top cuss!
Sorry Westie, it made me chuckle too.
Cant beat a good helmet & crack joke! haha
ps. nice bike now, better than that leg warming scooter you were using!
Got the chaser, had Signet before, that and Shoie xr8000 before that.
Have to say it is the noisest helmet I have ever had, ear plugs absolutly essential. It is a great fit and feels lovely but …
pardon???
wish I bought an arai last time… I bought the Shoei Raid II… My old arai was far quieter… the fit is an individual thing… I have an Arai shaped head!!! but i got a good deal on the Shoei… Just to say I would rather have an Arai as they are quieter… especially on motorways…
Dont buy on looks or price or anything, buy on fit. If it fits its for you, if it dont walk away.
On another note My Arai Condor fits me like a (head) glove! Which in actual fact is a pain in the arse coz almost every other helmet Ive tried is too loose/tight and those Arai’s aint cheap.
I’m not going to equate any of that last sentance with any deflamatory remarks westie
