I had a SL1000 for a few years … Great bike . Think I even still have some filters on the shelf . If its just a basic oil change, and once over required …bring some oil and I will sort you out .
Once you find a garage you’ll soon be on first name terms with them, having an Italian bike and all…
Not sure if ur after just any garage that can service ya bike or an official Aprilia garage , or what area Ur in,
Theres InMoto near Croydon ,
There not just a bike shop selling Aprilia ,Ducati & Ktm’s , but officially Autherised Dealers with
" workshop staff that are fully trained factory technicians and our newly refurbished workshops are fully equipped with state of the art factory diagnostic, specialist tools and equipment " , LOL
This is just for info, as i have never used or bought from them, and the Quote is off there website
Have ya thought about doing the service Ur self at OMC ??
Not with that big rotax ya dont . Mine did 45000 miles and not a hiccup . It was more reliable than any jap bike I ever have had
Same here… 49000 and no problems so far.
Thanks for the info, I’ll go check that garage with “workshop staff that are fully trained factory technicians and our newly refurbished workshops are fully equipped with state of the art factory diagnostic, specialist tools and equipment”
It’s not just oil and filter change this time, so I have to go to a garage.
Corsa Italiana used to be in Colliers Wood but a few months back they moved to Hersham. A colleague of mine speaks highly of them, even if is Griso is almost never on the road.
Corsa Italiana do only Moto Guzzis…
I called up InMoto and probably going to service the bike there! Cheers guys!

My mistake. I forgot that despite being the same company, they maintain two seperate dealer networks.
So you brought the Aprilia over then eh?
Bowens in Chatham are very good

Hehe not yet… I’m moving up to Leicester (new job) and now it’s time to bring her over. Still concerned about the foreign number plates and the “6 month” period but, I guess we shall see! I’m looking into changing them to UK plates.
After a couple of calls to the garages I can say that the major service is a bit pricey…
