Anyone up for a festival in Germany?

Hello everybody,
In case anyone’s free this weekend, I’ll be going to Fusion Festival in Germany. Fusion generally is nothing short of epic and caters to almost everybody’s taste – psy-trance, techno, house, live bands, fringe films, theatre, you name it. Add about 35,000 people and brilliant sunshine and you’re talking serious fun!

At 30 quid it’s not really that expensive either. I’ll be catching the Harwich - Hook ferry on Friday morning and returning Monday evening. Most of the riding (about 1000 miles return) has been carefully chosen to avoid motorways and stick to twisty roads.

Check out the Fusion website: www.fusion-festival.de – it would be really cool to have some company for the trip.

Laters,

  • Stefan

If you had mentioned this a few weeks ago I would have definately booked the time off…thats sounds awesome !!

Have a good time and dont forget the camera and lots of pictures !!

mr. mechanic, where is this festival?

if its anywhere near munich, ill join you.

alright “poison arrow, bone marro” barro, how you doing mate?..

30 to get in what about the crossing how much in all

Damn Barro, I should have told you earlier! Hehe I would have loved to see you tear it up on a dance floor somewhere… LOL!

The festival is on an old abandoned Russian airbase west of Berlin. If you look up “Neustrelitz” on mapquest.de you’ll pretty much see the location.

The ferry crossing is about 69 quid each way because it’s the long way across (saving many boring road miles through France and Belgium) and also the jet-turbine-powered high-speed ferry. Then probably another 100 euro for petrol… I’ve budgeted about 300 quid for the whole weekend: ferry, petrol, admission, drinks, and loads of cheap bacci and perfume to bring back.

For all those who’ll miss it yess I will be taking loads of pictures and posting them up afterwards…

I’d budget some more cash for the casino on the ferry!

it passes the time quicker and i came away 100 euros up from the poker table! mint
