I was thinking of getting my bike treated with ACF-50.
Anyone else interested?
They need a few bookings in roughly the same area…

I was going to do this myself, but I don’t know what I’m doing.
£50 for a full, professional treatment seems pretty good. Count me in.
yer I’m SE and would be up for this, my bike needs a good clean so if they are going to do that for me as well I’m in…
Just bought a can of the stuff to do it myself, cheaper that way.
cool
according to the website if they have a few bookings in our area then they will come down
so i’ll leave this thread open until say mid next week
and then i’ll call the company to see which weekends they may be able to do
i’ll post those options and we can all try to agree on a common time
Where are they comming from?
hell i’ll treat your bikes for you for £40 a pop! even come to you within the m25 for free
Forget that question, Co Durham
i thought either they can spend a day visiting each of us or we could all meet up someplace for them to do the work and have a gas about fixing the world etc…

you do all the steps above to a good standard and its a deal ![]()
I’m up for it. I’m in central London Most weekdays or Heathrow way weekends
Bump!
When you ring them, see if they will say knock an extra £5 off a bike or something if we are all in the same place.
because if they are not driving around a load of places they will save on time and petrol.
i cant see that happening they will practically be driving the length of england to get here ![]()
but will give it a go
ill be in for this…when were u thinking as im off on holiday for a week at the end of the month.
Ive literally just done it myself! Its not that hard really, you just mask your brake discs and spray spray spray, wipe of excess and leave to dry.
You should then not clean your bike for a month, and yes you should re-apply monthly - really!
50 sheets seems a bit steep for me, and anyway I like cleaning my bike (am I mad?) :w00t:
I’d rather do it myself and make sure it’s done properly - you have to take all the bodywork off to do a proper job with it.
Worth it, though, prevents corrosion all through the winter.
I did mine last year, rode it to work through the winter (and various chilly rideouts) and not a spot of corrosion at all.Brilliant stuff, and much better than that F365 stuff.
It’s steep, but I’ve got no easy way of cleaning my bike! I rent a garage a few minutes from my house, and there’s no water supply there.
I have to ride to my folks’ house whenever I want to give it a clean… :Wow:
Blimey, £50!! I got some myself last year for about £12 and done it myself, easy peesy and a hell of a lot cheaper!!
