So most of the time ( I mean the common used range of revs) the increase will be around 4-5 HP right? For £1300?
Those systems are for race use, where you’re at peak power most of the time, so are absolutely necessary modifications, Rottie. For the road, most people are happy with bolt-ons to give a better sound, look better and perhaps release a bit more mid-range. 4-5bhp is still noticable though!
Of course I understand using it for racing. Every HP counts then. But it’s absolutely waste of money for me to fit it on a bike ridden on the streets. I’m sure that £1300 spent on the trackdays will make you much faster than these few HP. Don’t you reckon?
Hmmm, maybe I’m still thinking in car cattegories It’s much cheaper to get much more HP there.
I agree with you on that but! Don’t you think that the guy who has a brand new 06 ZX10, plus that exhaust and obviously, what has to come with it such as Power Command etc, is worrying about the price of trackdays?
It’s like ask someone that has a Ferrari how many miles it does per gallon? He doesn’t care mate!

I looked at the new 10R at Ally Pally, then went and looked at the GSXR - no contest. Yam have managed to make the twin underseats ‘ok’ but still, they seem awkward. Even BMW managed to get twin underseat pipes to look good. How hard can it be?
The 10R just looked frumpy and rounded. I prefer the sharper styling of the Blade etc.
Mind, riding it’ll be a different story…
My opinion is starting to change, now I’ve seen these high-res snaps of it with the Akrapovic’s on, it’s growing on me. In black it looks naughty. Would love to thrash one round Brands GP…
I cant see the point in twin cans more wieght that is not needed even on my bike they could have made it a single sided end can cant I like the old one better tbh, the ti force system looks the biz

Sorry, but thats my opinion and its my cash I’ll be spending. I ride on the road everyday, and like a girl most of the time probably so a bike is about looks for me. There I said it!!
