I know that cyclists are generally considered wrong by a lot of bikers, but bear with me, cause my missus is actually one who obeys the rules of the road, pulls lifesavers etc.
Was anyone riding through Brixton this morning around 09.20 by any chance?
If so did you see a blonde cyclist get cut up and knocked off her silver mountainbike . She was waiting in the green box, and when the lights changed, a low BMW (Z1 or similar) whose reg began LX06 (didn’t get the rest) drove her off the road, and then the driver got out and assaulted her, dragging her into the road before being confronted by a member of the public - then driving off? This happened at the lights at the intersection by Brixton Police station.
It’s been reported to the Police who are looking into the possibility of charges of common assault and dangerous driving. There’s a couple of witnesses and I know there’s a lot of CCTV round there, but just wondered if anyone saw this incident at all? Ideally I’d like the full registration of the car.
that area is full of CCTV; that will be reviewed in search of the driver & evidence of the offence taking place.
CCTV there will capture it all incl plate details.

…yes, once the plate is clearly identified from the incident, - it will have a force-wide actioned information marker against it, so as well as local officers looking out for it (PCSO’s notes etc), ANPR will be alerted with the information for officers to act accordingly.
What is wrong with people today!!! disgusting behaviour from the toss pot of a driver, knocking someone off their bike and then assulting them!! a man v a woman as well, hope he gets what’s coming to him. I hope your girlfriend is recovering after all this

Some people, what can you say that hasn’t already been said. Hope your missus is ok. If you got witnesses, there’s plenty of CCTV in Brixton, so you should be able to force an investigation into this.
I am so sick of angry cagers, fine its our choice to go on two wheels, but why is it ok to just attack strangers, when is this idiocy going to be dealt with?

What sort of person would do that? Drive a cyclist off the road, a lady no less, then get out the car and assault them? Thats hideous - I’m quite disgusted!
