Coming home this evening I spotted chavs riding 2-up on what I think was a red BMW xmoto - stolen - coming from Islington direction, heading for Grays Inn Road (where they were spotted again).
2 guys on a bike around midnight, wearing chavlar (track pants) - heading wrong way up one-way streets and along bike paths. Definitely stolen. Heading towards Grays Inn road - more that likely part of the crew that Jimmy Tan (for those that remember) runs with.
Was slightly odd. They werent going fast - but they were zig-zagging their way around (which is how, inevitably I lost them). They were 2-up - which is more like to be the configuration when out on the prowl, but they were heading in the wrong direction (if we assume it was the grays inn crew).
I didnt get a good look at the bike - but it had the styling of the front of the Xmoto (low fender & headlight style) - and the front was red. I thought it had twin pipes (which the xmoto doesnt) - but cant be certain. It did have a plate - but didnt get close enough to read it.
Anyway, if it was stolen this evening (or recently), then I recommend having a thorough look around the area between grays in road & berry lane.
