Getting the 05:18 channel tunnel then blat to Assen once there will have to find the course then sample all the delights of Groningen as I am led to believe that this is a minnie Amsterdam;)

Unfortunately not, i used to go every year when it was in september but now they have moved it to one of the wetest months of the year and the fact that it is the following weekend after Le Mans, which i go to every year, i have stopped going. Which is a real shame as it was always a good run from Calais and yes Groningen is a lovely place. Not so sure about the mini Amsterdam though.
Have a good time and the ride. Watch out for speed camera’s after bridges, they set them up on the side of the road, small and on tripods, not your usual illuminous large camera.
