Saw these advertised and bought some today…chilli and chocolate are disgusting(my opinion) onion baji are lush and builders brekkie were’nt bad but i want to try the squirrel ones and the duck and hoisin sauce cos thats my fave chinese meal! anyone else tried them?
Not tried them myself but just looking at the flavours the saying ‘if it aint broke, dont try and fix it’ comes to mind.
Salt and vinegar and cheese and onion are in my opinion the only flavours needed.
I bought 6 each for hubby and I to compare what we thought of them, coz I am a pig and love Walkers, mine have gone, I can’t compare with hubby yet as he has 4 packs left and by the time he gets to eat them I would have forgotten what they tasted like.
I was not crazy on any of them, if I had to vote I’d choose builder’s breakfast, just give me prawn cocktail, marmite and worcester sauce any day, or even better every day. I feel a heart attack coming on.
I tried some of these last friday at the Ace.
Riz brought a packet of each flavour, so I thought it rude not to try!
I did like the Builders Breakfast, you can even taste the beans! However, my favourite was the Cajun Squirrel. Only problem is, I’ve never had real Cajun Squirrel to compare it to. And so, I’m thinking of taking a trip to my local park when the weather brightens up, catch one of the little blighters, and barbecue him with a nice little cajun spice rubbed in! :w00t: Who’s up for it?
Just what we were thinking RR - most people probably don’t know what they taste of. Willing to try one though. ![]()
Not a big fan of potato crisps, but chilli and dark chocolate go very well together - if on your travels you ever come across confectionery like chocolates filled with chilli jam - buy them they are fantastic!
someone brought a load into work the other day, duck and hoisin were rank but the worst were the fish and chips…I almost threw up in the bin! proper nasty LOL
I have tried the fish and chips ones - it was an odd sensation to have that flavour on a crisp - not sure if I liked it or not
Can you still get “potato” flavoured crisps?
I quite like those, particularly if unsalted.
I haven’t tried them, but I want too now you’ve showed them to me!
Yep - and still with the little blue bag of salt…Although I doubt you can get some sweets a drink and a ticket at the picture house and still get change from a shilling…![]()
What fooked up brain came out with Chili and Chocolate!?
I`ll have to look out for them.
Cajun squirrel is mmmmm i’m so lucky hubby is a pest control officer i get to try odd stuff like that lol:D as for the duck and hoisin i was looking forward to them:w00t:
Try a bar…very popular in Hungary and excellent…Not sure I’d want my crisps that way though…
I always put a couple of squares of plain chocolate in the pot when I do a chilli…![]()
I am not alone in liking chilli and chocolate -

ginja bought some home the other day i like the fish and chip and builders breakfast ones u can actually taste the flavour
It’s a classic combination and often used in Mexican cooking.
There’s a specialist chocky shop that sells Chilli Chocolate in Hatfield Galleria. It’s yummy:D
Any large supermarket should sell Lindt Chili Chocolate, the best ones (and Whittards coffee shops) will also sell Chocolate with chili, cherry and truffle. There is also papaya and cayenne pepper…that’s a bit spicy!
Yep and Hotel Chocolat sell a range of chilli stuff ![]()
