enough with this rubbish weather already… global Warming promised me tropical conditions in under 20 years, its costing a fortune in aerosolised deodorant and I don’t see Pina Coladas and women wanderin the streets in thongs round Forest Hill yet? Admittedly you wouldn’t see the thong even if it was all they were wearing as most the women round here would absorb it along with all the chips, lard, chocolate, stray children and pizza there is but that’s NOT the point!
LOL Toby. I am SOOO looking forward to the spring. My wife doesn’t do well in the winter and although she has coped pretty well this winter she is at breaking point now - she needs some sunshine!
I run a Sunday League football team. We’ve played three games since Christmas due to pitches being waterlogged. At this rate we’ll be playing midweek fixtures to get the season finished before the end of May deadline!
it keeps promisin dry roads, then goin back to bone cold and damp… worst combo ever
saw an article on the Beeb website about Norwegian babies bein put out into -15C for naps with the suggestion that that toughens their immune system… if you did that here, the kid’d drown in damp tedious drizzle
It may be wet & miserable weather wise but you should make what you can from it.
You can either sit moaning watching from your window or get dressed for the occasion and get out there and enjoy it. You never know what’s round the corner & could end up living with in four walls with no choice of going out.
Rain snow ice fog sun all exciting in their own way.
Toby stick some wellies on & play in the puddles :w00t:
