You may or may not be aware that Harley D are holding a one make series in the BSB calendar for 09, using the XR1200 Trophy machine, similar idea to the SuperDuke Battle in fact. Niall McKenzie and James Whitham have signed up to do it already.
Here’s a pic (small admittedly) of the bikes in question and although I never thought I’d say it, it gives me a wee bit of the ol’ horn.
Look is good, but I reckon the sound is going to be even better

Rode an XR1200 in those colours from Warrs down to Brands last year. It ain’t no sportsbike. Do think it is a nice looking bike though.
Nice sunday ride and certainly better handling than a lot of hogs. Warrs boys were saying that there was a lot of sporty aftermarket stuff coming along.
