I’m looking for some new tires for my CBR600RR. Farnham Honda may have some Metzelers in so for convenience I might just go for those. I’ve had Bridgestone and Michelin before and got on well with both. I think I preferred the Bridgestone’s but my riding is not of a high enough standard to push the limits of any modern tyre.
The Metzeler Roadtec 01 is excellent. In fact it’s my preferred tyre. Other similar quality tyres would be the Continental ContiRoadAttack (version 4 is the latest) and Michelin PR (which are called just Road now, instead of Pilot Road). In my opinion you can’t go wrong with any of them.

I’ve had Metzeler Roadtec 01 on my Speed Triple, pretty good and not complaints. The last few sets have been Michelin Power 5, surprisingly good in the wet and excellent in the dry.
Roadtec on my tracer were excellent. My mate swears by M5’s on his GSX1400
Had them on the XV for years, no problems at all.
