Hmm. You need to define “carpenter” a bit better. In the building business there were “rough carpenters” (a.k.a. wood butchers?) “structural carpenters” (pitching roofs, fitting staircases and the like) and “finishing/second fix carpenters”. (The bits of wood you see/touch every day).
Beyond that their are a few other off site grades.
If you don’t know what grade you want, what do you want doing?
