Another R1 recovered

Mate - feel for you, at least your one has a tracker - i’ll speak to my missus and ask her to keep updating me for you!!

did you have theft cover??

Sorry to hear this.

is there a bloody pattern here, its not some **** who is reading all our posts…sorry to hear this afro…thats a real bummer…but I cant help but think its someone who reads up on all these posts…

These guys are bikers and the worst kind…dont buy second hand parts…unless your sure of the source…ebay has a lot to answer for…

sh*t news, unlucky afro

where was it stolen from? at least it sounds like the tracker is working so gives you more hope than a datapoo alarm

can tracker let you know the last receiver mast it went past/rough location?

Just a thought. If somehow there are tealeaves who read this, there should be no mention of dum-de-dum being on a bike or not as they will just rip the thing apart to find it.

very good point, you all need to make sure that there isn’t any reference to your addresses in any posts as well

if they know where they are put then that could be done pretty quickly but if not could take some time to find no?Anyhow sorry to hear about your loss Afro, start thinking about what you’d like next?!

I think we should all edit our posts to remove any reference to the T word:cool:

May the thieving gits be forced to eat from the chocolate snow cone from hell.

Hope you have you bike back soon.

Theiving cuunnts
Hope you get it back mate.

thats seriously crap news, had a brake-in recently, know how you are feeling

hope the fookers get what they deserve!

Cheers guys…

So far the Tracker has been reported to have been turned off

So much for expensive security technology

I believe there probably are a fair few thieves reading here and I reckon in future if any of you have a bike with a tracker, do not even mention that it has been stolen on here until you have it back or if the recovery process fails.

Thanks Sean for the assistance…Looks like I’ll be putting in a claim. :frowning:

oh mate sorry to hear this!, flippin scum!

Yeah dont mention it publicaly for about a week i reckon.Pm people to spread word maybe in the area was nicked etc and get them to spread word around known/trusted members.

I don’t suppose it helps having your fave website address on the bike either, they will know where to look for “My bikes been nicked and its got a blah blah blah on it”:hehe:Be careful peeps:doze:

are there any cctv cameras in the area? we used cctv footage from a local shop to get the details of a vehicle that we thought had removed the tools from a van at the last place I worked. It turned up a couple of days later burnt out and was stolen but we managed to tie the van into the theft.

Mate sorry to hear about this :frowning:

This claiming malarky is a load of crap - you have to wait 28 days before the insurance pay out - and you don’t get a courtasy bike to use in the meantime!!! so i’m having to use sh1tty public tranport to go to work (train to paddington, tube to liverpool st) journey time gone up by 3times!!!

on a slightly positive note - yamaha are doing 0% finance on the R6 and R1!!! (when you get paid out!!!)

That’s crap news mate.

Feel for ya.

It seems a bit strange though that if it was a reader on here, if they knew it had a tracker, then why bother. After all, the R1 is not a rare bike. If they were after an R1, then they wouldn’t have to look far surely?

Sorry to hear Afro.

Does tracker not default to the Police if you don’t positively respond to the alerts?

Would seem sensible to me (as would a spare phone battery - sorry mate;) )
