I saw a LB sticker on someone’s bike recently and thought I’d log on and see what it was all about…now I realise I saw some of you on sunday with your George’s flags blowing free! I was heading the other way along the A40 at about 6pm. Someone was pulling an impressive vertical one wheeler which nearly had me off mine watching them in my mirrors!
Speaking of which, I’ve been riding for 5 years but only passed my DAS last July. My bike is a smashing CBR600 called Parker (friends kids named him, got no excuse for Victor Vespa tho!!). So last year was spent familiarising and I’ve decided this is the year for new skills, new friends and lots of bike fun - riding wherever, because we can!
So I’m hoping to make the meet tomorrow (24th) but don’t finish in uxbridge til 7 - presuming that won’t be a problem. Also I’ve done it before and hate pulling up somewhere you don’t know, to a group of people you don’t know etc so if anyone would be kind enough to tip their cap to a terrified looking brunette on a red/blue CBR, I’d be most grateful!
I’m planning on making the meet tomorrow for the first time as well, so if you see a nervous looking guy on a yellow and black Gixxer, feel free to tip your cap my way too
