A 3 litre that was “pushed to it’s limit at 125mph”, pretty slow for a 3 litre, I would be ashamed to post that up. If he had done 160mph (in a safe environment) THAT would be worth showing off. Useless bugger:rolleyes:

But the traffic cop was fair. He seemed a nice bloke just doing his job on a cold evening and he was lenient - it could have been much worse.

On the A316, just west of the junction with A205 South Circular (by Mortlake cemetary) going towards Richmond. I think it was just a random evenings work for the boys in blue, so I didn’t see the need to warn anyone here.
11:30pm last night, coming back from the Clapham tea hut and I turned onto the A316 and within a few hundred yards a policeman was waving at me, with laser gun in hand. Says I was doing double the limit. I can’t see how I was going that fast, but I was polite and took the ticket.
It’s not the end of the world, because they’re my first 3 points, but I am disappointed.
I’ve seen them stood just before Kew roundabout, went past doing slightly more then the limit… never saw them until I was at the lights, but fortunately I think they had the laser trained on the bike behind me 
oh and I managed to drop my bike today. Went to check PSI in tyres then ended up spending best part of an hour cleaning up the grime off the chain and back wheel as I’ve not cleaned it properly for months. Finished all the checking and adjusting then went to take it off paddock stand… got a bit complacent… I’d not bothered to take off my top box from the day before, which is nice and smooth with a rounded top, nothing to crab onto so my hand just slipped off when I tried to stop it. It made a nice bit crash, broke an indicator, made a nice mess of the mushroom, dented mirror, a few scuffs here and there. Bit annoying but it already looks ratty so I its not going to make a big difference overall. Bloody heavy though… took three attempts to pick it up. Hmm, managed to crash without even going for a ride, must be some kind of record :doze:
at least I managed to start the bike up and ride away from the ace in style today… unlike last time… when I had the side stand down and the engine cut out about 3 times before someone kindly :pinch: told me the stand was down…
oh the shame…
