And the award for patience and safety goes to.......

Thinking about it I should have stopped in the middle of the lane and force her to reverse all the way back

Jeeez - that could have been a serious problem…

no mate, you did the right thing… you never know what nutter is behind that wheel and in the event of a head on, you’d be so much worse off…

I’ve had a similar thing (albeit more my fault). Filtering through very heavy traffic, the car in the facing lane had mahoosive amount of space to move over to let me squeeze… She had seen me, I had no gap to pull back into but still kept driving towards me. I had to move so close to the lorry I clipped my wing mirror on it’s metal container.

What the hell would she have done if you had been a car…

She was trying to get into the right turn lane?

No patcience!

I have lost count of the amount of red light runners I see these days cause of no patcience

I don’t commute into London anymore, so my journey is generally twat free, but I felt this morning was a special day.
Few minutes earlier a young girl was blissfully texting on her mobile while driving at 20mph, and a couple of idiots tried to close me in while I was filtering through, but that’s all part of the filtering experience anyway, so no much excitement there :doze:

Yep, you did the right thing. Yep, they were wrong, you were in the right. But it’s better to let the idiots go, otherwise in a years time you could still be in wheel chair reiterating how you were in the right, whilst the idiot driver is still an idiot, driving around doing whatever they please.

+1

@Arfa +1 (I heard that somewhere :P)

In this situation my only response is to shoot driver. I know it might be a bit harsh but you may safe life of… 30 kids in school run bus which will be instead of Mordiglio on the road next time.

Forgot to ask yesterday, is this all what you can get with the camera? hard to read licence plate.

I’ve had this, but I just stopped in the middle of the road, the bloke started shouting for me to move, which I didn’t.
He was halfway getting out of the car when a truck pulled up behind me and tooted his air horn (almost made me drop the bike lol)
So he had to reserve back up the road

Priceless!!
Exactly what I had in mind :Wow:
I know I’ve done the right thing by avoiding confrontation, which on a bike it’s never a good idea, but God sometimes I wish I was driving a 16 wheeler truck instead.
Guns mounted on bike would also be welcome :Whistling:

Evilblade, the camera wasn’t shooting in HD as it uses too much space and the footage was also compressed for youtube, but I get you point, being able to read the plate could be crucial in case of a hit and run.

Myself and jetstream had this in my van,so we just stopped and unloaded and made them wait ages.!!

Not only that, I believe for police now every little helps so every £60 fine is welcome in the budget. And few points on the licence would cool off the driver for a while.

Not sure I see a problem. When it snows and I have to get the bus to Morden Station, the 293 always filters to the front of the queue for The Beverley Roundabout just Like that. I am not joking!

Don’t you know you should give way if a bus is pulling out in front of you? Even if it’s in the oncoming direction :stuck_out_tongue:
