Car talk… sorry.
Gotta replace my brake pads and I need a car stand, got a jack but that’s not really a good idea for a long job, they’re not designed for duration lifts.
Does anyone have a car stand I can borrow… can’t see the point in buying one for this job as these pads will last longer than the rest of the car in the long run…
Anyone…?
Can pick up and pints aplenty as a fee for anyone that can help…

wot ya mean by car stand? got pair of axle stands here if your in the area, se london, rotherhithe.
i normally jack bike up with trolley jack and then stick the axle stands under the lower rails, 1 each side.
I have a pair of axle stands you can borrow in N1.
Do you have a trolley jack? If youre using the in car jack, sometimes you find yourself jacking the same spot where you need to put the axle stand. Get a trolley jack if you can - but sorry I dont have one!
lift it with the jack and stack sum bricks under it then you can do it on each side by the front and rear wheels and ya get the car in the air…or is that not a gud enuf option?
