Am I getting old?

I think perhaps I have finally breached the threshold into old age. This morning, whilst shaving, I got sick of listening to my local commercial radio station, Invicta FM, as it’s too noisy and keeps playing lots of music I’ve never heard before by artists I’ve never heard of, and instead re-tuned to Radio 2. Should I go out and buy a pipe and a pair of slippers and prepare for life sitting by the fire complaining about “kids today don’t know their born”?

Fight back go get yourself an Ipod fill it with new music you’ve never heard and stay young for another year.

A new GSXR will also have you feeling like a kid for longer :stuck_out_tongue:

Already there me mate lmao, still ya got wrighty on in afternoon and he’s not a full deck of cards

plus point though you get more up to date traffic reports not 3 hours late like local radio, handy if you drive for a living…blimey hark at the old codger

That’s not old age. That’s the realisation that Invicta FM is actually crap!

they say your getting old when it takes you all night to do what you used to do all night !!!

all my fav bands keep having their 25th anniversary concerts!!! the thing is they are still going and most of these new bands only last a couple of years and disapear.

they dont write songs like they used to …arrggghhh im turning into my dad!!!

I’d agree with that!!

Well yes, I agree, but the wife listens to it, and my apathy has allowed the radio to continue to be tuned to Invicta, but today I just needed to listen to Radio 2… Anyway I’m off to the shops to buy some Horlicks

An Ipod you say? What is this new fangled technology? I’ve got my Sony Walkman and a collection of C90 tapes, what more could I need:)I asked the wife about the GSXR… She didn’t dignify my request with a reply… well not one that could be repeated here!

I hate Radio2 and will resist as long as I can:D

I have to say i do like waking up with Denise Van Outen on Capital FM, she’s a saucy minx and works well with Johnny Vaughan:)

Radio 2 omg sorry mate it’s go’s down hill from here just ask

Chunkey Monkey

I can’t get Capital out here in the sticks…

Capitalfm.com

Yeah but the only reason I’m still on this site is that I don’t actually know how to use the interweb so I can’t look at anything else!!

Listening to Radio 2 is the start of the slippery slope.

Next you’ll be riding a Beemer or Honda and instead of admiring how you look on the bike in shop windows, you’ll be looking in thinking ‘my word what a lovely cardigan and slipper combo’…

The only cure is GSXR taken three times a day and relentless one night stands to make you feel 18 again

Radio 4 for me.

Whats wrong with Hondas ? i love my Hornet, much better than the god awful FZ6 i had

old old old, your all old men…

ill have to keep extra vigilant at any bike meets that i dont start tripping over slippers…:stuck_out_tongue:

Radio 4 in the morning.
Radio 2 for Steve Wright in the Afternoon.

And I’ve already bought a Honda, so I must be middle-aged.

So, isn’t it time for me to have a mid-life crisis and begin an inappropriate affair with a glamorous young Swedish blonde? Not sure what the downside is!

they say ur gettin old when ur balls hang lower then ur dick lol

I tune my wireless to:
Radio 1 in the morning.
Radio London from midday thru’ to 5. Robert Elms followed by Danny Baker.
Radio 4 at 6.30 (most days) and the bits in-between.

I’ve just re-read that. I think I’m older than I thought I was!:w00t:
