Well…what can i say…how impressed am i with these leathers…
I opted for the blue/black and white as i had bought the Alpinestars supertechs in white and black…the gloves,Alpinestars GP pro, fitted nicley over the arms with the added bling factor of also being colour coded.
i had bought a back protector(thats right Alpinestars) and having never worn one before…thought it would be alien to have somthing stuck to my back in such a snugg fitting suit…wrong…all i can say is like a glove!!! and gave me a confidence factor of 100%.
The padding inside this suit is second to none in my opinion, all were its supposed to be and made very profesinally.you can almost feel the quality when your wearing it which is a good feeling to have when your going mach 10…+…
so…the test ride…
Armed with a GSXR 750 K6 and a glorius days sunshine i headed out towards kent way and took some twisties…
Tight turns and corners were a breeze with no sag to them.the knees are bulky enough for you(the rider)to be assured that if ever you had the mishap of being ejected and landing on your knees, you would’nt feel a thing…but yet…they dont look massive …same feeling with the arms, shoulders, and shins…
As it was a hot day,i really wanted to see if i would get really grotty inside this suit,…nope…all i can say is thank god for vents…and the people at Alpinestars have taken great care in the positioning of these said vents…i was cool as a jewl the whole ride!!! nice.
So the motorway,
The RC1 has a speed hump on the back for areo dynamics…nuff said…
i wanted to try that out
so down the M25 at an easy 146mph and i was comfortable all the way…no problems what so ever
so the Alpinestars RC1 onepeice leathers…
one to buy in my opinion…just dont ponder too much on the pricetag…lol
smiled.
