Almaria track

Almaria track is about 10 miles from my mums house in spain.

http://www.circuitodealmeria.com/

As i was there a last week i went up and took some pics.

Have a look…

Some spanish track toolz…

One slightly sandy k3 750 gixxer…

Some track action, shitty camara…

The fast guys waiting to go out…

And the kids!! just think your 10 you have a bike like this and you doing trackdays every weekend…

how cool is that.

these lil guys were fast to they were burning big bikes left right and center threw the twisty parts. there were just two groups fast and slow

Two bikes in that back of a car…

Adam, those pictures are superb! Thanks for sharing! Man, those kids! How lucky are they!?!? The next set of Spanish champions eh. No wonder the Spanish have so many top-flight racers, they let them play with bikes like we let our kids play with footballs and knives.

Some nice bikes there too I bet you were tempted to get out there, eh.

Adam that is my preferid track ever! I had so much fun there, it is incredible indeed! The very long left corner blew my mind away! Well done mate!

Love the pics mate and scenery is beautiful with weather to match, what more can you ask for.
Perfect trackday!

Nice pics and good to see that the youngsters are allowed out. Far cry from over here where they can track race from 13 but can’t get any practice as track day companies won’t allow them on circuit, or so it appears.

Any chance of getting some of that weather over here, could just do with some of that lovely sunshine…

Hi Adam, i hope u had a great trackday here in spain. as most of u say, weather here is great and we are lucky enough to also have 3 gp tracks as well as many others around the country.

i’ve seen other posts of u people coming to spain to take trackdays, just wanted to offer myself in case u need advise on anything or just to see if we meet at a trackday.

i hope to be going to “ricardo tormo” cheste (valencia) circuit in september, its great having it 20 km from my house, although prices are a bit high compared to other circuits.

btw, its “Almeria” not “Almaria” (dont get me wrong, im not trying to be “smart” by correcting its just so if anyone tries to find about it over the internet)

thanks sergio… i should know that iv been going there for 5 years!!

but i cant spell english let alone spanish hehe.

Dyslexic.

Adam, neat little write up and pics mate, the little fella in the queue waiting to go out, you just know he’s not there to make up the numbers … lol

hehe its ok, it was just a comment.

do u go to almeria every time u are here? maybe we can meet in a trackday one day.

have u been to other spanish tracks?

btw those kids are incredible, i’ve seen 9 year old kit with “metrakit” bikes which have 70cc engine pass big 600cc and 1000cc bikes in the curves and do better times than a lot of them. they dont have so many hp but they simply dont brake hehe its amazing !!

I really envy those kids, Sergio! What a life they have. I wonder if they realise how lucky they are?

This is why Spain has Sete Gibernau, and we have James Ellison.
