I wonder if anyone can help me. My brother is a big fan of MototGP and I wondered if tickets to the Ally Pally Bike Show for his birthday would be suitable?Thank you.

maybe this will help
or perhaps this http://www.dukevideo.com/Bikes/DVD.aspx
The show is good if you are a biker as there are all sorts of bits to buy but if not he will probably be a little bored. The Excel show which has just been would have been a bigger show for him to go to as there were actual GP bikes on display.
Thank you both, that is very helpful. So maybe not the day out for him I was hoping for. Don’t suppose you have any other ideas for a day out, along the MotoGP theme?

Well, there’s always the all inclusive package deal to the real thing? Just a bit more pricey.
Whether he enjoys A.P. or not depends on what the show is going to have going this year. It’s a new venture for the Ace, so who knows.
I’m meeting a national magazine owner there on the Saturday and, as of Wednesday gone, he hadn’t got a clue what the show was about this year except there will be bikes. So it can’t be all bad.
I thought that the shows at Excel and Alexandra Palace were not up to much in comparison with the NEC (but you’d have to wait a long while for that). I think getting to a BSB round might be better, bring folding seats, waterproofs and a hamper full of food with you though.
I work at Ally Pally and none of us seem to know whats actually going to be happening at this show!
