oh to be young again ! that which you refer to is the “Khe Sahn Tactical Aproach” developed during the seige of the airfield at Khe Sahn Vietnam, the NVA had control of many of the hills arround the airfield forcing aircraft to dive steeply into the airfield to avoid AAA fire,levelling off at the last moment in order to land(or in some cases not even stop, parachutes were deployed to pull cargo sleds out of the aircraft)
lol…never seen it chunks…but we got a memo 2 weeks ago saying to be carefull as one guy got sucked into an engine on idle power…saw photo’s of what was left…no nice…
fookin idle power…thats 5% of thrust…im walking next to the fookin thing on 25% while he’s pushing back!!!..then im left on me todd untill im finished with the aircraft…anything could happen…:w00t:
