Hi there, browsing around here last few days I thought I’d register and here I am now
Newbie to some degree, but not fully Made my bike licence together with car when I was 18, 11.5 years ago now, in Germany, but never owned a bike yet, just took father’s bikes out for a ride here and there.
Six years ago moved to London, and neither had a bike nor car, until finally two weeks ago I bought myself a neat Yamaha '01 FZS1000
This also means that until now I never rode on a British road and your ‘wrong’ side before :w00t:
One of the reasons to get a bike, next to the obvious fun, is to stick a finger to the bloody Tube, as well as get out of London for some rides here and there
So, looking forward to some fun to be had in this forum and outside
Welcome aboard - hope you have fun on the bike after all these years - nothing like the baptism of fire huh? Wrong side of the road in the crazy capital - some may say you are mental!!!
Used to speed around with my car on the A3, A40, A42 and A57 in the Ruhrgebiet area.
And father’s Intruder too, but that one didn’t go too fast, 100 mph was the max I got out of it.
Then also of course in the Niederrhein area there are many nice country lanes too
