Thanks Garret! That’s the best explanation of the crossplane I’ve seen.I now understand the advantages of the crossplane crankshaft!

Unless you are an engineer it’s difficult to grasp this stuff just from reading an article - you need to to see the thing in action and compared against a conventional set up. :slight_smile:
