They don’t wanna play - I didn’t threaten them with an envelope full of dosh - and they’d only go down to 4600. I mentioned extras to sweeten the deal ( such as a new chain and sprocket set that iit badly needs ) - and thye couldn’t be arsed. I spoke to the manager. Started on the bollocks of how much pre-delivery work they were going to do in the workshop before delivering the bike.
Let me translate that: They’ll get their 16 year old work experience lacky to spray it with WD40 and wipe it with a dirty cloth.
I’d take my money elsewhere - not neccessarily to get a beter deal, just to not giive it to them.

i wish i saw this yesterday cos today i had a few cheeky ones & had to get the bus home which pissed me off proper so out of frustration i phoned metropolis back( i havent found one better) & they offered it to me for 4300 & now with a free lid & lock. abit more eager this time…he he
i put down a 100 deposit & can pick it up on wednsday… i can still fuck em off though.
you mentioned a new chain & sprocket set , how soon will i need to get em & how much am i looking at + fitting.
is it really that bad?
anyway! if i do pick it up, ill just put this one down to first bike inexperience…could have been worse.
