A little advice if you can be bothered.

yesterday i was pulled up next to a car on his right side, both had our indicaters on waithing for a gag to turn right.

gap come & we both start to move , he doesnt look to all the way to his right & turns his car right into me.

we both pull over, take pics & phone numbers as we had no details. my indicater was knocked off & he had some big sratches & a half a fist size dent.

im on TPFT.

who,s fault was it? if he had looked he would have seen me but he just drove into me. or should i have let him go first even though i was on his right side.?

he was in a company car.

imo sounds like a 50/50 to me, as i can make you both being wrong.

I think it hinges on who was there first, as the other party failed to comply with the Highway Code on passing another vehicle signalling right.

If you were there first he failed to leave enough room for his manouvre.

If he was there first, and was indicating right, you attempted to pass a vehicle at a junction on the side it was signalling.

he was their first but we were at a standstill. so i moved to his side so as to stop blocking traffick from behind
