ACU License

Hey there, I don’t suppose anyone here has an ACU license? I’m 17 and want to get my racing license so I can do track days with my dad and other friends. There’s so many bloody categories of ACU license available that I don’t know which one I need. I think it’s either ‘long track’, ‘short track’ or ‘road racing’ that I need.

Anyone who knows what I’m on about please heeeellpp

Your best bet is to PM Powerpuffgirl. She’s up on all the latest regs:cool:

road racing is what you need.

Before you send in the form you need to go to rugby to do the half day classroom session. Book via acu website. You then need to join a club (just so they can stamp your application). Download the bemsee (www.bemsee.net) membership form and fill it out…

then send the acu form (filled out), your test pass certificate from your half day at rugby, and your bemsee membership form to bemsee. They will stamp your licence and send it on to the acu…who will then send you your licence!

Feel free to replace bemsee with any other club in the above!!

awesome stuff, long arse proccess though. spose i better get on with it then lol. thanks

Dunno about the other TD companies, but Focused Events will only accept an ACU licence if you’re also over 18.

May be worth checking some others out before you go through all the licence application process & expenditure only to find out you still can’t get out on track.
