Hi Folks
Anyone on here know of a company in the London area that will spray coat bikes with this or do I just look up valeters. I’ve heard of it being done but do not have the time or inclination to do it myself.

AllYearBiker seems to be in my mind…
However, I never really understood of the benefits of doing it professionaly rather than using the can. It literally took a matter of mins to spray the bits I wanted protected on my GSR. Aim and spray, use little adapter if wanting a smaller stream for tighter places or more controlled…
You just spray it on and that’s it no special skills needed …well that’s what I do anyway
http://allyearbiker.co.uk/ - Believe the’ll clean the bike properly first.
although I just spray it on my self; and wipe with a rag. Takes <10minutes.
I used allyearbiker to protect my bike last December and will bring it in again. Before they spray ACF50 all over the bike, including places that you can’t access conventionally, they fully degrease and clean the bike.
All i can tell from experience is:
Bike looks better than when i bought it from shop
No sign of rust or corrosion anywhere on my bike - and i ride all weather
I was able to slap an extra £100 on my selling price - which was successful as i sold my bike about a week ago
you had me at “fully degrease”
Correction, they didn’t decrease areas that are out of limits, such as swing arm or brake lever
I hope you don’t take the same attitude to chain maintenance Dizzx!
Scorch has a theory on ACF50 I think…
Scorch has a theory on ACF50 I think.. yourebarredany elaboration?
I always use WD40…
Both are belt drive
Cover your tires if doing yourself. I learned from experience 😄
When I applied AFC50 to my old bike, I just stood back and sprayed it everywhere. Make sure you stand next to the bike the first time you fire it up after applying AFC50 for the full experience.
Ride it immediately without warming up… you will smell everything and get loads of people telling you you’re on fire
Another vote for AllYearBiker. Had mine done by Adam in Portsmouth. Thorough, really thorough wash, ACF50 via compressor everywhere and done properly. Try to do this yourself and you’ll waste most of the stuff, been there so decided this year to leave it to the experts. Will hose mine off in the spring, just keep glass etc clear.
So can someone explain to me what’s the benefit of using this on a Faired Sports Bike.
I got a can of ACF50 for ages but after reading the label it says, do NOT use in the areas that get hot. Whole bloody bike gets hot with very few exceptions.
Do you just put this stuff on foot pegs and suspension? I’ve applied it on the wheels (Not tires) in hope that they’ll be easier to clean…
I suppose it's so you don't use more than you have to. If sprayed on the hot parts, it will evaporate, engulfing you in a cloud of awesomeness. Personally, I would hardly call that a waste.

I splash it on all over 'enry
The pros use a compressor that will get into everywhere rain/salty spray might ingress. Obviously the exposed areas at the front of the bike will benefit, as will anywhere to the rear/ subframe etc that may get covered in road crap. Prbably best to give one of them a call to talk it over - if you go to the AllYearBiker site and go to the map locator, it'll give the name and mobile number of your local franchise. My bike is half faired and was thoroughly cleaned and treated, so I'm thankfully not planning on cleaning anything apart from the lights until spring.
