Im too much of a chicken to ride there myself on a Fri, otherwise i’d go 
I should be heading up there soon

Whereabouts are you? I’d be happy to meet & lead you there so you can meet some folks. As long as it doesn’t take you six hours to get ready like most girls (sorry, not the girlfriend, she’s good at getting ready quick!)

Turning up late on a sunny friday can be a little daunting, which is why it’s good to get there before 8pm. Then you can watch the maniacs, without fear of being mixed up with them. Carshalton is a looooong way from me, but I’m sure someone would oblige to help out down that way? There all a pretty good bunch when you get to know them…
Just get up, put your bike gear on and get on the road. All the traffic will be going the opposite way to you too. Putting miles on the bike is the best way to overcome any fears.
