Jackie and i will probably be along, and we may do the LAM toy run from Croydon the following weekend.
Seen this and Bman’s what exactly happens for this Toy Run. If you participate what do you have to do?
Buy a toy, warp it and mark boy or girl, hand it in at the ace, follow police and a few hundred bikes dressed up as santa around london stopping at 3 kid’s hospitals. It is a brilliant day out with a great atmosphere. Pity I am going to miss it this year, I am going to be on holiday. Will send a few toys with a mate who always goes.
I want to do this, anyone heading up for around the bromley area? as I don’t know my way to the ace.
Hi sleeper, thinking of doing this with the gf, she’s on l plates at the moment but think she’d like it.
We’re in Petts Wood, I’ll tell he about it and see what she thinks. Don’t know the way to the Ace either but would probably have a dry run before the day, been wanting to go for ages anyway.

Sounds good, still trying to convince the GF, she’s a bit worried about being with experienced riders (she’s on L plates) and riding in London. Any tips for persuading her gratefully accepted. 
Things like toy runs if well marshalled, as this will be, are easier for learners than any other sort of riding. They don’t go fast, and people tend to stay in position and just ride in two lines.
Now, if you want a scary experience, try an old style scooter run like the Mysterons Easter Egg run!
