AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH

Pootling up Waterloo Bridge Road and was approaching traffic lights at around 5 mph. Just started raining. Motorcycle Ambulance just pulls in front of me without looking so I have to grab fronts. Front tucks in and I go down. Broken indicator (new ones from Infinity in 5 minutes) and scraped fairing, which my wife says I can put a Bumblebee sticker on (bike is bright yellow)…

The rider asks if I am okay, I ask why he did not either indicate or look before pulling out! End of the day I’m fine and the bike just has a small scrape and will have nicer indicators. BUT it only has 3070 miles on the clocks, brand new (even if it is a 2002 model)! Boohoo. I may well try to get LB stickers tonight to cover the scrape and put a bumblebee sticker on the tail panels.

Unlucky mate :pinch:
What did he say ?

Sh1t news mate but glad you ok - even at a low speed a spill can be painful :hehe:

Damn, damn, damn.
Sorry to hear this :frowning:

good you are all ok!

welcome in the club btw :satisfied:

lol, if the 'bee stickers dont work u can always use a sunflower…

ah well alls well n the bike can be fixed. glad it wasnt worse!

ironic it was a motorbike ambulance ,

gd your ok tho

yeah, they on commision or something?  :D:cool:

Sorry to hear this mate:angry:

Glad you are all in one piece:)

You would expect a higher standard of riding from these medic fellas eh?

as long as your ok

I’m fine, a slightly sore shoulder, to be expected since I landed on my elbow. But the hip armour and elbow armour definately did the job. No marks on engine casing or forks thankfully. Just on the fairing and I have now replaced the indicators with neater ones, and it does look nicer! Just a small sticker for the graze on the plastics and that is it sorted.

Big picture is that I walked away from it and am fine. I was having an absolutely brilliant ride up till then, but will have a brilliant ride home too.

Cheers,

From experience I know how gutted you are feeling. Glad you are OK.

Bumblebee stickers hey? I’m famous!!!:w00t:

Buzz off! :laugh:Unlucky makman I know how it feels.

You should send the bill of the new indicators to the London Ambulance. Make them pay!!!

Gutted you dropped your bike.:crying:

Happy you are OK.

Take care & stay safe.

oh man thats not good, lucky it was a minor drop?
