As you know Rob, we are in the South of France so will not be able to make it, but we will be with you in thought.

Hopefully the rain will clear away for this evening but we might get caught with a shower, Westie has kindly agreed to say a few words, announce the lighting of the candles and the one minute silence.

I plan on coming down tonight. I didn’t bring a candle (couldn’t find the “emergency stock” at home, will need to fix that or else I’ll end up one day searching for them in the abject darkness), but I will try and buy one around the BM area beforehand.

I’d like to note that you couldn’t have chosen a better day for this meet. Today is the Hindu festival of Diwali, the festival of light, and the candles will likely be supplemented by many many fireworks lighting up the sky in memory of Martin.
