A little bit more progress......

Ok, it might not sound like much, but today was the first day since my accident where I have worn a T-shirt which hasn’t had the right arm hole doctored to get my swollen stump through (no sniggering at the back:) ) . Today I wore a t-shirt complete as the manufacturers intended, although it was a bit of a struggle getting it off again this evening. Soon I hope to progress to jumpers and then coats, and then a relatively normal trip out will be possible without the risk of dying of hyperthermia.

The next stage in my recovery is to wean myself off Mint Kit-Kats and Chocolate Fingers…

Well done with the T-shirt John, bet that bit will be easier than giving up the choc:)

Nice one John Im well made up for you. Shame there isnt a shirt that does away with the need for an overcoat eh? :stuck_out_tongue:

Well done John keep up the progress, and good luck giving up the chocolate

good one john, it great how things as simple as putting on a t-shirt can become valuable milestones in your route to recovery…I have to dress up for outings regularly and can now do up my top button and tie my tie on my own. Cant tie a bow tie mind, thats clip on from now on…good luck with the recovery for sure…wating for my next rehab in stanmore in the new year…hopefully my arm will be doing abit more by then…

Great news as it means your getting there and not long now.

Well done John, every little helps, and good luck with giving up the chocolate - New Years resolution?

Well done John, slowly but surely wins the race;)

If you’re struggling with jumpers, Mrs CM has a poncho you’re welcome to borrow:)

Combine that with a Sombrero i got on holiday and you can go to that new years fancy dress and a Mexican Bandit;)

Hope you had a good Chrimbo mate

Chunks

Nice one John. Sounds like you are winning the war mate and will be celebrating victory in the not too distant future.

Well done John, it’s really heartening to read about your progress.

I suggest that Curly Wurly’s and mini-Snickers are the best route out of your current confectionery dilemma . . !

Nice one John…well happy for ya!!

Your biggest challenge though will be giving up the chocolate…that’ll be darn difficult!!

(someone at the back sniggering)
