600rr or zx6

hey all
i hope some of you guys can offer me some advice as im stuck in a rut.
im looking at buying a 600 sports & im not sure which one to get.thinking about either a cbr600rr or a zx6.

i have around 5k to spend & after a lot of research my head is spinning lol…
can any one give me any advice on the two. good & bad points & what i should get for that money.
i will be carrying a pillion at times aswell.
ive seen an 04 rr for 4595 but the dealer wont budge on the price or throw anything in. he said he will chuck in a new front tyre but i think he has too doesnt he? coz the one on it is nearlly bald. it has a honda alarm aswell.
is this a good price. ( 5500 mile on the clock)
also what should i look out for when i go see it? problems ect…

Hey mate …i have had both …

go for the RR i think the 636 is very nice but the RR i just that bit better i think .

Although it’s over priced for the year IMO, despite the lower mileage.

The 05/06 RR looks better, has up side down forks and much, much better brakes.

Well you can get an 06 ZX636 C1H with 2-3000 miles on for 5k or an 04 (possibably 05) 600RR for 5k - milage might be higher though!!

Or a K4/K5 Gixxer with low milage!!

sean, i checked out your site, if only the 636 was in black.

ive just seen a 05 rr for 4995 ( no alrm) with 4471 on the clock. the only thing is it’s black & silver & i want a black one. i dont think the uk does an rr in all black on 05/06 models.

how much would it cost to spray the silver bits black & to put stickers back on?

Just a bit of friendly advice - if your looking to sell your bike on here as “mint” i’d change your avater showing you doing a stoppie on it (cos your tail section probably isn’t far off cracking - like adam H’s and mine)
