Further to my earlier thread - with Sunday’s weather looking good, and heaven knows what the rest of autumn and winter will bring this rideout is aimed at providing everyone capable of sustaining 60 mph with an opportunity to get down to the coast whilst the weather holds. All are welcome as long as they will be happy keeping to the pace of the group. I want to keep numbers down to no more than about a dozen riders to keep the group manageable. Experienced riders to help out, including someone to act as tailgunner would be a great help.
The details - The ride will be at a suitable pace given the nature of the group that turns up.
Leaving Rykas, Box Hill promptly at 10.30 with full tanks, aiming to get to Eastbourne via Horsham, Haywards Heath and Hailsham in time for a seafront lunch. After that we will test the mood of the group, but Beachy Head seems likely.
No motorways, as few fast A roads as practical and plenty of twisty A roads. Leave your name in this thread if you are interested.
I’m leaving Chiswick Roundabout at half 9 if anyone wants to ride down.
EDIT: I should add that all this hinges on the fact that I will miraculously not be ill tomorrow, I am hoping to recover overnight. I may well end up posting tomorrow morning that I can’t make it though, I am realising…
