The route:

4000 miles around the UK in two weeks. Leaving London on the 1st July 2007, the pair will travel east along the Thames Estuary, out to the coast, then round Kent, then heading west to Lands

They will then head north, travelling through Bristol into Wales, they then head to Liverpool, Manchester and Blackpool, before heading into Scotland, all the way to John O’Groats.

After reaching the most northern point on the mainland, they will then travel the east coast of the country, taking 6 days to arrive in Essex, before the final leg of the journey back into London.

Ed is a biker of one year’s experience. He looks confident on a bike and knows his fairings from his calipers, but the furthest he’s ridden is a mere 108 miles. Can you say saddle sores?

Dom who knows his lifesavers from his shoulder checks, and has recently passed his test. Dom likes a challenge.

Finally, the fashionistas among you can drop into http://www.cafepress.com/beyondborders to buy exclusive Beyond Borders merchandise, like our Team Dom and Team Eduardo T-shirts. All profits that BB makes from merchandise will go straight to Macmillan Cancer Support.

A very worthwhile cause. I wish them the best of luck.

Wow, what an effort from (what sounds like) 2 relatively new riders.

Never mind filling up with petrol, they will need a service somewhere on route!

They need the bikes first though…
