Given the weather I think I have to take the bike out today. Anyone else out for a trundle or is it a Dorset recovery day?

I’m on a 125 but would love to go for a ride today

Well 3 of us is a start…
I’ll nip down to the Ace at 1, have a cup of tea and head out at 1.30. I’ll be on the bike in the pic, wearing a black HG textile jacket, blue jeans , avg white helmet (sorry Julie :P)
The plan, such as it is, is to head west towards Rickmansworth, then over towards Amersham, Aylesbury. I might detour a bit depending on whether I recognise any of the routes I’ve followed Rixxy down.
My sense of direction is legendarily bad, so I’ll be using my newly installed satnav (fingers crossed)
It will be a progressive ride, but I’m not a mindless lunatic so speedy 125’s welcome. Not a Jetstream epic, it will probably be about 100 miles.
I’ll be heading out from Watford at about 12.30 and I’ll check pm’s before I go.
i was gonna recover from yesterday, but the idea of going to see people doing track day at snetterton is growing on me…not sure the 125 would be able to follow though 
I considered going and doing some photography for Andy, but it’s a bit of a hike to Norfolk :crazy:

It was a very pleasant afternoon.
Fortunately Mr J. Stream was in attendance and kindly steered us towards some excellent roads.
Arh i just went out that way and found a loop back. Very pleased indeed!

Martin, my friend Jon on leave from serving in Helmand and I were at Box about 10.30 ish, where we bumped into Mr Tattoo (Lee) and his Mrs. We then had a lovely day riding round the southern counties and home at 7.15pm.
Maybe see some of you folks next weekend for a ride - let’s hope the weather holds!!

Past experience suggests that the traffic on a Sunday at the end of a half term holiday will be sh1te for coming home, especially seaside wise. Watch the rideout section on Saturday night if yer sober:D
