I don’t think I have any friends that are ‘my age’. How funny that this is a criteria of friendship. Oh well, each to their own.
10th Jan is in the diary. We are going to get our butts (and bikes
) out more often this year.
Funny all my friends are at least 10 + years older than me.
Get great having to get Pin to explain who the heck isDorian Grey!
Still not sure on that one!
Happy New Year to your good selfs Mr and Mrs Jet xx
Dear Harry
Yes there are members on here that were born in the 1920’s…
Regards
Geoff
PS: Take no notice of Alba, there’s nothing wrong with your bike, it’s just that she struggles to stay up with them o_O
I have the knowledge of a 6-year-old, the experience of a 16-year-old, the body of a 60-year-old, but sadly sit somewhere in between.
Don’t be too hard on the guy, it is a bit hard if you don’t have mates your own-ish age who are into bikes. I used to work in a place where all the staff and clients were old enough to be my Dad. It meant the conversations were a bit too old for me during downtime. However, there are a great bunch of people here, of all ages!
To answer the question, yes, there are a fair few of us who tick the 25-34 age-range, actually thinking about it that’s probably the majority of regulars at BM? Or very nearly.
Biking in London isn’t cheap or easy which I think rules it out as transport for most late teens - early twenties
I think you’ll find all the male Bikers have a mental age of 16 according to all the females
I have an IQ of 5.
Lets be honest, there are loads of:mid life crisis 40 year old blokes who own bikes and only ride them on sunny days…LB has more:than its fair share too
Easy to spot as their bikes are ridiculouly clean!
I used my bike on a Daily Basis and i kept it spotless, i washed it at least twice a week.
My commute everyday was 106 miles round trip and my bike always looks reasonably clean
But take into account doing over 500miles a week and finding the time to keep it spotless
I ride my bike everyday. It shows
