2013 CBR500 and CB500

could these be photos of the new CBR500 and CB500 by honda?

photos are from a presentation at Honda’s manufacturing facility in Thailand

i like the CB500

its very mini CB1R isnt it

No…its better

your right

and your an idiot ^

think your right there pan, seems like the big 4 have started making more bikes to fit in with the new learner laws here in the uk?

What they need to do now is re-design and bring out the SP3…

**** OFF.

but yeh they do, cos it would be a right ferking hoon!

A dead boring sit up and beg… that’ll be the Honda

have you ever tidden a cb500 in anger.

i had a cb500 and it was a right laugh. dump the centre stand. change the standard exhaust for a race one. 1 tooth less on the front sproket 2 up on the rear youll be looking at a very potent little bike. id still have mine if it didnt get nicked :frowning:

the new cbr500 looks cool as does the cb500. id like to test ride em both

I prefer the new Ninja 300, but my Mrs has a CB500 with aforementioned mods and agree it is very fun to ride.

Little bit skittish on the front end though. Got it into a tank slap once.

got some specs for the CBR500

  • 470cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin
  • Six-speed manual
  • 46.9bhp
  • 30lb/ft of torque
  • 401lbs (dry)/430lbs (wet)
  • 105mph top speed
  • 31-inch seat height
  • 120/70-17 (front)/160-60-17 (rear)

looking good for a step up for people just passed their test

And with the release of the NC700 series I can’t see them releasing this in country.

Honda are pretty much the only Japanese bike company that appears to be investing in new engine designs and technology.

I’m liking them!

new spy shots from italy. these are looking really good! note that these are three new models : the CBR, the CB500R and a CB500X (alla NC700X)

wow the CBR500 looks awesome!.
Love the wheels.

New “spy shots” when honda got caught out discreetly testing the bikes in the middle of a piazza :hehe:
