Times must be hard at Yamaha, they used most of the R6 in building the new bike

It’s likely Yam will join the current trend for underslung exhausts with the new R1 so maybe these are more accurate

I hope Yamaha follow Honda’s lead in how they have designed the current CBR 1000 RR, especially in the engine design.You can have a motor which doesn’t sacrifice midrange for top end power and be up there in WSB after all the tuning that goes on with their blocks.Might even allow Nori to get off the corners better and get past the Ducatis

think it looks great, but i doubt it will look anything like that. that image is a mix of loads of otherbikes. it has mv pipes, 312 rear wheel and single sided swing arm. 1098 mirrors and side vents, with a third r6 vent (why do you need three intakes?) and the rest is pretty much an r6. looks the dogz i might add. just doesnt seem likely.

Looks loads like the R6, like the S-S-S-arm, the exhaust looks like an after thought! Still lots to be nicked for a decent fighter!

it won’t have a single sided swinger i reckon. its gonna be the size of an r6 but with more power than the current cbr1000 and the others i reckon. with some trick parts to keep the superstock class honest.

U ride a gixer. U have no say. Do the world a favor and cover it in acid, then petrol followed buy a nice lit match…Then tell all ur mates with gixers to do the same. Ill be kind and supply the petrol and acid. Ill even throw in a match each…Better idea, get all the gixers together in a big group and set a light to them all and all the LB’s can have a summer BBQ:D
well looks like i found my replacement for my 675, should be coming out just as the warranty runs out on mine
