£3995ono

That is so pretty.

That really is a nice colour scheme

If you get £3,000, you will be lucky

EDIT:
Sorry didn’t mean to lessen your bike, which is beautiful.

Just talking from personal experience.

Trying to sell at the moment a CAT D bike with similar mileage, but 2012 model, with a few extras.

Dealer offered £3,000, and it’s on eBay for £3,950 and no bids…

Yeah, but I’d buy this over a Cat D. It might be unjustified being put off by a repaired write off but a lot of people are.

Also it’s really pretty.

Didn’t quite get you…

This IS a CAT-D bike…

And so is mine

What is wrong with it? Did the broken mirror write it off? Honda plastic is expensive.

This one is the same years as mine, you can also tell because there is extra plastic covering the engine and clutch. The models before and after didn’t have that so you get extra plastic thrown in on the deal

drools

So it is! Sorry, I completely missed that bit where he’d typed it can capitals.

Can you all stop writing off nice bikes…

I’d have yours instead.

Hahaha… it seems like mine is now sold

Just took deposit from a German dealer …

He is collecting on Monday

Bye bye baby… :frowning:

Just had a talk with the insurers, the bike may not be recorded as a CATD.
So I am gonna HPI it and see if it’s clear, as soon as I get all the paper work.
Will update when I get the bike and paper work.

It’s just cosmetic damage, a mirror broke off (which us can see in the asda carrier bag) and a few scuffs.
I will know more when I get the bike tomorrow.

Thanks

thats exactly what i was talking about!!! well done!

how much did it go for?

and also, that bike in the OP its AWESOME.

We have agreed £4,000…

I will confirm on Monday as soon as I have the money in my hand

For now… only a deposit of £150 is in my account :stuck_out_tongue:

i think its the best you could expect at this time of the year.

Yeap, I will be fairly happy if the transaction is completed successfully!

One of those is on my Christmas wish list…
I think Pin has mentioned something about keep on wishing!
Errrrrrrrrr

Just a quick update received V5 and 1 owner since new
MOT til July 2014
Have both keys

Result!

'Course the German won’t worry about CAT D … when he gets to sausage land his ‘Schein’ will just say it’s an imported bike…nowt else.

Now all you have to do is go th Germany and buy a German ‘CAT D’ bike and register it here as imported but ‘clean’ , crazy !

Ross

So true Ross!!!

He even told me he already has a client interested on buying the bike!

At least I didn’t give it away for a penny!

Yep - good job!

Makes me think that if I have a CAT D or CAT C I’ll advertise it on Ebay and tick the ‘International Buyers’ box to bring in all the German/ Dutch/ French buyers.

That way you get round the stupid ‘scrap valuations’ you get for bikes with a dinged ( and fully repaired ) wing mirror!
