Does anyone one know when the new model hits the road? I want to get the current model but wondering when is the latest I can get one.
Colin Collins in Harrow and Bracken are dealers and will be able to let you know how many current shape LC4’s they have left, but they are likely to tell you there are very few left even if there isn’t so you buy one asap so its a bit of a gamble. I got me 04 model SMC cos I hated the look of the 05, I was told there were 20 left in the country so brought one pretty much there and then. They were still selling 04 models 6 months later for £500 cheaper
I’d ask when the 07 is avilable to buy and then ask about current models and gauge when best to buy.

but that engine could be really good, esp if it does put out the claimed 60 ponies. You could change the tractor exhausts and switch the front light/mudguard and get a nice quick tard. But it all depends on what the final power output is. I spent about £500 getting my SMC to 58bhp from a standard 51, so if the 07 does put out 60 compared to a standard 06 LC4 of about 48 then you might be quids in
