Bout a week ago an empty garage got broke into, no probs there as was empty/unused. Anyway, missus notices it open when she goes to get car out then a bloke rides str8 in the garage leaves bike and helmet shuts dorr and off he scoots, picks me up. when get there there is a brand new bike in there with crash helmet and petrol can, can see through grill. right i though, go get a copper and see if he can run the reg plate, i forgot to get it but hey he can look and do it, by the time i got 1 and goes back, bike is gone, fook knows how cos i didnt see or hear him come out the garages, copper recognised the motive though with the green petrol can.
Anyway i check the garage regularly so this morn when i check it and sees a ducati 916 (i think) in the garge i get the reg plate, i had to gowork so i got the missus to phone police st etc, the reg plate was not coming up on the system so was false plate, even more suss so they send when a copper in area he will knock, yep you guessed it by the time he got there and went down there bike gone.
So that is 2 bikes in 1 week that could have been reunited with there owners. All i can do is carry on wot doing and hopefully will have a result.
The garages are under gorund 1s and even if some1 parked in front of garage do you think it will be there for long?
Forgot to say, Make it 3 times in 1 week.
yep this very morn, goes to get car have a squiz and said bike was back, phones missus she phones police st they say cos they missed it yesaterday will get some1 out asap, that was at 9.30 it is 11.40 now and still no 1 has been!
Trojan, if get to have a look orund here, the bike pulled in about 4 this morn and went about 11.
