1995 ZX9, £600.

Poor Nicola has to go to make room for other projects. I wish I could keep her, she’s more comfortable than my vfr 750 for touring and enough space under the seat for a pair of trainers.
Had 45000 miles when I bought her in 2011, engine threw a rod and punched a hole in the casing about 3000 miles later. I couldn’t let her die so got her running again.
Replaced the engine but I don’t know the history of the new unit, could do with checking over or a rebuild if you want peace of mind.
Also replaced the rear shock.
Carbs balanced at the OMC.

Has a nice harpoon can on it, real throaty growl.
comes with new battery, adjustable levers, wavy front discs, rear luggage shelf, double bubble screen, datatool immobiliser and spare wiring loom (came with the new engine).
no tax or test, have the full V5 in my name.

parts that need attention:
Fork dust seals. the actual oil seals are fine and not leaking any oil.
Head race bearings. I have a new set of these that will come with the bike.
Exhaust header gaskets, new ones come with the bike.
front and rear seats have a couple of knicks in the leather (see pics).
paint is a little faded as you can see.

would ideally suit someone who wants a solid track bike or a winter project for a great sports tourer next year. Not interested in offers from breakers.

Why didn’t you put this up yesterday?!?! I would have taken it.

I wish I had the funds, would be a good commuter.

:crying:

That’s me out then lol

You can have it for £700 off me if you want?

£650 and a reach around and we have a deal

Bike’s in north herts, near J9 of the A1. you’ll need a trailer or van to take her away.Registration if you want to do a HPI check is M73TJE

That is a lot of bike for the money. They are cracking nice with space on them for “larger” members.

I concur, there was a lot of space for my large member.

bump

PM’d you
