Just wondering who was in the van.
Sitting here at the computer, I hear police sirens, look out of the window and see 17 police bikes go pass, 2 stopped at the junction over the road to stop any traffic. they where followed by a police van.
I was just wondering if anyone knew who was in the van ?

I was held up by a Police escort of black vehicles (presumably politicians) down the A4 recently. They were trundling along in the OUTSIDE lane of a near-empty stretch. Cars were told to move over, they did, but it was still too slow for me, but I got some harsh treatment by one bike cop who thought I was some terrorist or something (yeah, we all ride GSX-R 1000’s) and boomed at me to keep well away. I told him to read the highway code and pulled off at the next exit. I don’t think he was allowed to leave the convoy or he’d have come after me

Foriegn leaders often stay at the Savoy and to get to and from the garage where I park my bike I sometimes have to have my bike searched. Sometimes, when VIPs are comming and going armed bike cops are controlling traffic moving past the back of the hotel.
