Being the 929 it wont be cheap they are a complete bollocks of a bike to work on . Just changing the plugs would try the patience of a saint . I had one,I am happy spanner monkey usually , after the first time I serviced it …i sold it …and vowed never to go near one again .
Shame, as they are (IMHO) the best version of Blade I have ridden. Though I have never have had to change the plugs, I will go with your knowledge on them being a biatch to work on.
are all bikes silly money to get a 16k service done? mines due in a 1000 miles on 2009 hornet. £400 sounds like a bastard.
Radiator and frame get in the way … You need to unblot the rad and flop it forwards on it’s hoses …Then If you have the proper 929 spark plug remover it aint to bad … If you dont …I didn’t… its a pain .Gotta have a extension juuust the right size that will go down the hole and get under the frame … Then once loose Jiggling them in and out with a bit of rubber hose is about the best way . Bit more awkward than most to do … awkward I can do without .
So do you think it’s gonna be a set price or might there be a surprise charge.?
