for me I think this guy deserved this and more if I’m honest… at least the other guy that got done a few weeks ago was legal on the roads.
I agree, no licence and no insurance and riding like an idiot I think he deserves it!
I do find the BBC’s attempt to add extra weight to a story which they obviously couldn’t find anything to write about quite farcical though…

If I’d been the rozzer that knicked him, I’d have thrown the book at him! Anybody that drives/rides without insurance/licence has no respect for the law of the land. The courts giving them a ban is pointless - I’d jail them!
Agreed, no insurance and no licence is a big offence and the law should be more harsh on people like that in my opinion.
Although Insurance companies should sort their systems out better cos there are genuine cases of why someone may be caught with no insurance but if they’re doing it on purpose then fine, throw the book at them.

Fair enough man I get what you mean but come on 150mph, no license and no insurance are not petty; And in the end riding with no insurance puts up all everybody’s premiums in the long run - I don’t want to have to pay more because this arse is being an arse and doesn’t have insurance.

Bootlaces? Loose seat? Sounds like a pretty normal courier bike to me.
Is there a law that says your mudguard has to be screwed on? Are cable ties enough? What about duct tape? Does the law say anything about duct tape? I don’t think it does.
And the seat… please. Is the seat ripped open and bits of foam missing an offence now too? Because if it were, you could nick half the couriers on the Embankment on any given week.
They are just pissed off that they couldn’t find anything better to do him for when they gave him the Free Roadside MOT… it means that his indicators, brake lights, etc. were all in perfect working order
The speed isn’t necessarily an issue, either, and what looks like dangerous driving to a cage-pusher can look perfectly reasonable when you are the one on the bike. But of course, riding without a licence and without insurance takes the ****, so he deserves everything he got. Not too fond of his overtaking either, he came pretty close to clipping an oncoming car when he overtook on a bend o.O

havent seen the clip but anyone with NO INSURANCE NO LICENCE that rides/drives on the public highway should be punished to the maximum thats as bad as being a drunk driver in my opinion you kill some one or mame them the victims wont get much if anything in way of compensatioin to help them out. send him to jail ,then when he comes out ban him for life:angry:
