11.11.12 Remembrance day rideout.

Sunday 11th Nov.

Depart the Ace 10.00am prompt.

A minutes silence at Thurrock services. 11.00 am.

“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.”

Then a cracking ride through Kent with a lunch stop, culminating in a visit to Capel Le Ferne, site of the Battle of Britain Memorial.

No 125s, no knobbers, Germans welcome.

Not wishing to be partisan, this ride will include a tribute to the “Senior Service”

I’ll be there

Its my weekend to work :frowning:

The nobbermobile is greased up and ready to roll.

:ermm: Just make sure you give me plenty of room as you go whizzing past me

I’m not on parade as far as I’m aware. So aslong as I’m not dicked with it last minute I’m in.

bloody hell that’s a deep ford!

Possibly a wrong turn down the slipway onto the beach at Whitby.

Mmmmm could be a first outing (of the bike not me) depending on the weather

that was the shallow side :w00t:

What to ride down from Sunny Watford?

I think I live round the corner from you.

How close? Near Bushey Station?

Just off Brookdene avenue, about half a mile from Bushey Station

Well bugger me with the Arches. Rusty is Bushey as well.

I live just after the second speed camera on Eastbury Road.

Small blinkin’ world.

I’ve probably nodded at you multiple times over the years…
That’s us then, hereafter known as The Bushey Chapter…

Please note that people who do not live in Bushey are also welcome on this rideout:)

Could well be up for this. Will have to check if nowt else is going on first. What route you going? A13 to Thurrock? I’m out in Dagenham, where would be a good spot to catch you as you come through 'nam?

Whitby is ace! Used to be up there twice a year for the goth festival. Back when I was younger and had a penchant for daft clothes and makeup… :Whistling:

Meeting points are Ace or Thurrock, not going via Dagenham
